The design and facilities of the building allow for the presentation of both traditional exhibitions and innovative, interactive content. Our permanent exhibition is located in a dedicated space below ground level. The halls and gallery of the renovated synagogue attached to the building, as well as the courtyard, can also serve as venues for temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions at the Holocaust Memorial Center are overseen by the most renowned Hungarian and internationally recognized historians, artists, and experts; in every case, the exhibition content is compiled with the collaboration and active participation of professionals who are the most knowledgeable on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Our permanent exhibition presents the history of the Hungarian Holocaust and the Roma Holocaust through a unique structure that features multimedia content, touchscreen computers, original documents and artifacts, as well as family and personal stories. Beyond remembrance, its primary goal is to promote education and help people come to terms with the horrors of the past.<\/p>\n<p>The Holocaust Memorial Center regularly hosts temporary exhibitions on various topics related to the Holocaust and the Roma Holocaust. Photographs, works of art, special aspects of the Holocaust, and period documents have been and continue to be displayed.
