The FIFTH Annual International WHISC Conference

The Nazis’ policy of extermination held the same fate in store for both genders, yet women and men experienced the Holocaust differently. This year’s conference aims to explore, through a multidisciplinary approach, the lives, actions, and legacies of women during the Holocaust and World War II, highlighting various aspects of survival through their stories. The conference aims to bring together historians, as well as researchers and experts working in the fields of history, literature, the arts, and Holocaust remembrance.
