On 24 November 2022, the Holocaust Documentation Centre and Memorial Collection Public Foundation will publish the Hungarian edition of the book by French Catholic priest Patrick Desbois, La Shoah par balles: La mort en plein jour, entitled

A golyók általi holokauszt, Halál fényes nappal.
The book was translated by our historian Dr. Attila Jakab.

The extraordinary work of the French research group Yahad In Unum, founded by father Desbois, and the eyewitness interviews recorded at the sites of the massacres committed by Nazi Germany in Eastern Europe between 1941 and 1944, have been the subject of great interest worldwide.
For the first time, the author will be visiting us for the book launch and will deliver a lecture at 6pm in the synagogue of the Holocaust Memorial Centre.

The event will be in Hungarian – English, with interpretation provided.
