On January 24, 2012 Douglas Davidson, Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues of the U.S. Department of State visited the Holocaust Memorial Center. The high-ranking guest, escorted by Kristine A. Marsh, diplomat of the U.S. Embassy in Budapest was briefed on the activities of the institution by Dr. Janos Botos, Deputy Managing Director of the Center. During his visit to Budapest, Douglas Davidson had talks with Hungarian officials on domestic and international developments relevant to the Jewish population.
